The realization of Ayan Mukerji brahmastra Part 1: Shiva roared at the box office as the film crossed Rs 300 crore at the global box office. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in key roles.
During a recent interaction, Telugu star Nagarjuna opened up about the overwhelming response to his latest release from Hindi and Telugu audiences.

Speaking about his character in Brahmastra, he said, “My character appealed to a lot of fans. It was also placed in the film at the right time. is formed because of all the people who have watched me, whether they are fans or not. They have watched my films over the years and they have built the image, which I will always try to add nuances to the character. But thanks to Ayan and his team for putting my character in the film at the right time.”

He also expressed his opinion on what has changed in the entertainment industry, which is that movies are not performing at the box office.

He said: “I can admit some things today, which I would never have said at the start of my career. At one point in my career, I was looking for acceptance by the masses. Even when an actor is a superstar, they want their fans and followers to appreciate their movie, effort and creativity. The way a movie is marketed however is completely different. They are marketed for stars and fame. But when the movie does not generate the same income, who will get the flak?”
