(RTTNews) – Arcadis (ARCAY.PK) said its operating EBITA for the year 2021 increased by 9% to €246 million from €226 million the previous year. EBITA operating margin increased to 9.6% from 9.1%. The company said the increase was mainly due to an improvement in EMEs. Organic net revenue growth for the full year 2021 was 3.5%.
Net income from operations increased by 35% to 175 million euros from 130 million euros. Net operating income per share amounted to 1.96 euros compared to 1.46 euros.
Net sales for the year 2021 amounted to €2.56 billion and increased by 3.5% organically, with a foreign exchange impact of 1%. Excluding the Middle East, organic revenue growth was 4.2%.
Fourth quarter operating EBITA increased to €70 million from €63 million a year ago. Net sales amounted to 652 million euros, representing organic growth of 4.0%.
The Board will propose to shareholders a dividend of 0.70 euro per share, up 17% over one year. In addition, the Board will propose an exceptional cash dividend of €0.60 per share.
Arcadis also announced that Michiel Lap will succeed Niek Hoek as chairman of its supervisory board at the annual general meeting on May 12, 2022.
